I thought I would be a leather craftsman running my own business from my home with my family near me for the rest of my career. A new chapter in the journey was about to unfold.
1984-1994

My career at Martin Marietta concluded with me being promoted from Engineer running the composite lab to Tech Transfer representative for NASA in the State of Tennessee.

2008-2021
I was first hired to help manage the fabrication of the James Webb Sunshields…Today we are receiving photos that are challenging the assumptions we had about the age of the universe and the “Big Bang”.
2024-Present
Getting used to retirement was an adjustment after working for so long. I had been doing all the home projects along with my career so there wasn’t much left to keep me busy. Then the call came that changed everything.
